Music Festival Awards and Trophies The following awards may be presented at the Finale of the Festival.
Rive Gauche Cup: for the most outstanding vocal soloist (11 years and under)
Hope Cup: for the most outstanding vocal soloist (12 - 15 years)
Tudor-Williams Vocal Cup: for the most promising vocalist (16 years and under)
Bel Canto Cup: for the most outstanding vocal soloist (16 years and under)
Mayor’s Cup: for the winner of the Junior School Choir classes
Alan Howarth Memorial Cup: for the most outstanding choir
Rivermusik Composition Cup: for the most outstanding composition from a candidate of 20 years or under
Katrina Blandy Cup: for an outstanding piano solo not in an Open class from a performer who has not previously won a piano solo class at the Festival
TVP Junior Piano Cup: for the most outstanding piano soloist (11 years or under) not in a recital
Francki Cup for the most outstanding piano soloist (12 - 15 years) not in a recital
Lisa Childs Cup: presented by Childs Pianoforte School for the most outstanding advanced piano soloist, (16 – 18 years) not in a recital
Sheargold Cup: for the most outstanding contemporary piano playing
Moston Cup: for the overall most outstanding Junior Piano soloist (11 years or under)
Rawlings Cup: for the winner of the Intermediate Piano Recital
Doroszkowski Cup: for the winner of the Advanced Piano Recital
Valerie Childs Cup: presented by Childs Pianoforte School for the winner of the Open Piano Recital
Ione Constanduros Trophy: for the most Mia Santa Olalla outstanding piano ensemble
Representative chosen from the Piano classes to compete for the Emanuel Trophy and £300 cash prize at the North London Music Festival
Sir Keith Stuart Cup and £100: for the most promising pianist
Lucero Cup: for an outstanding violin or viola solo
Maritz Cup: for the most outstanding non violin or viola string soloist
Tony Buzan Cup: for the most outstanding wind soloist (11 years and under)
Harland Cup: presented by Exland School of Music for the most promising woodwind soloist (12 – 15 years)
Burnham Cup: for the most outstanding woodwind player
Exton Cup: presented by Exland School of Music for the most promising brass soloist (12 – 15 years)
Chan Wing Cup: for the most outstanding brass player
Insimul Cup: presented by Exland School Music for the most promising ensemble (18 years and under)
John Spink Trophy: for overall promise and achievement
