V01 Infant School Choir (7 years and under) (maximum 8 minutes) V02 Junior School Choir (11 years and under) (maximum 8 minutes) V03 Children (16 years and under) Three to six voices singing in unison (maximum 8 minutes) V04 Vocal Ensemble (16 years and under) Three to eight voices with one voice to a part. V05 Senior School Choir (18 years and under) (maximum 8 minutes) V06 Youth Choir (maximum 8 minutes) V07 Mixed Voice Choir (SATB) (maximum 8 minutes) V08 Close Harmony Choir (e.g. Barber Shop, Gospel etc., any combination of voices) (maximum 8 minutes) V09 Sacred Choir (Adults or Adults and Children) Choirs from churches, chapels, mission halls, synagogues, etc of any denomination are invited to take part. (maximum 8 minutes)
Own choice of one piece. Any combination of voices singing in harmony.

One piece taken from a current or previous examination syllabus for the specified grade.

Own choice of one piece. No costume or backing group/tracks allowed.

(maximum 5 minutes) V36 British Art Song (18 years and over) One song by, for example, Britten, Dowland, Elgar, Gurney, Purcell, Quilter, Stanford, Vaughan Williams or Warlock. (maximum 5 minutes) V37 Sacred Songs/Spirituals/Hymns/Gospel (any age) One song with or without accompaniment. The performers in the Class will be treated as equals and the duo adjudicated as an ensemble.
