Drama and Speech

This section offers opportunities to compete at all levels from age 5 up to adult. Classes include Verse Speaking, Prose, Solo Acting, Duologues & Group Scenes, Shakespeare and Improvisation.

The Wycombe Swan Group Acting Cup-Highest Mark from Group Acting Classes 
The Marlow FM Cup – awarded by the adjudicator for The Most Promising Performer
The Chambers Acting Cup - for the highest mark from all Acting sections of the Festival
(not Shakespeare) 
Audrey Parsons Memorial Trophy for Poetry - Awarded by the adjudicator for the best
poetry performance irrespective of mark
The Murray Prose Cup: For the highest mark from all Prose sections.
Prose prizes - Book tokens for the winner of each Prose reading section 
The Flint Cup - Trophy for 7 years and under 
The Queen Anne’s Trophy - for age 9 and under 
Junior Performance Award – Awarded by the adjudicator irrespective of mark for Ages 5-9 years
The Sparky’s Drama Cup - Aggregate Trophy for age 12 and under 
The Orange Cup - Aggregate 15 years and under 
LifeStage Cup - Aggregate Trophy 18 years and under 
Aggregate Adult Prize: £50 of theatre tokens 
The Cookham Festival Shakespeare Cup - for the highest mark from all Shakespeare
sections
Festival Duologue Cups - Awarded to the Duologue with the highest mark from all age
sections
The Wethered Cup: awarded by the adjudicator for most outstanding performance
irrespective of mark
